Ahhhhh, Candles…They Can Set The Mood For Many Different Situations. The One Mood You DO NOT Want It To Include Is – FRUSTRATION!
Whether it was a good day, a bad day or just one of those in-between days, candles are amazing. They can be romantic on a night with your loved one, they can be relaxing while enjoying a bubble bath, they can add extra holiday cheer with all sorts of scents, they can help light up a room during a scary storm, they can raise up a sky lantern in remembrance of someone you hold dearly to your heart – candles can hold some close sentimental value to a person when they are used – except for when tragic happens & your cat decides to smell this lovely burning flame that holds a trance on them, burns off their adorable little whiskers & they end up scurrying off the table in such a huge hurry, that this (sometimes expensive) delight falls to the floor, falls to the rug or carpet might I add……..really……….well, now what in the heck are you supposed to do with this slow hardening & possibly vibrant mess that you were once trying to enjoy??
Here Are Some DiY Steps On How To Remove Candle Wax From Your Carpet or Rug:
1.) Place A White Terry Cloth Over The Candle Wax On The Carpet.
2.) Use A Clothing Iron Over The Towel Allowing The Heat To Build Up. The Heat Will Liquify The Wax.
3.) Remove The Iron From The Towel & Allow To Sit For 15-20 Seconds. Lift The Towel & You Should See The Wax Absorbed Into The Towel.
4.) Repeat As Necessary Until Stain Is Gone Or Has Lightened Up To Your Liking.
